Our Team

Keith Collier was called as pastor of FBC Groesbeck in October 2017 and has a passion to see the church become a healthy gospel light in the community and around the world. Keith is married to Amy, and they have three children. 
 
Keith grew up near Beaumont, Texas. Prior to coming to FBC Groesbeck, he served in churches as a youth minister, a church planter, and a pastor/elder. In addition to local church ministry, he served as editor of the Southern Baptist TEXAN and news director for Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Keith earned a bachelor’s from Lamar University and both a Master of Divinity and Ph.D. at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

Colby joined our staff in January 2025, having served in youth ministry in various capacities at his home church in Ennis. He completed his bachelor’s in Christian Studies at Texas Baptist College. His wife, Jessey, is a science teacher at Groesbeck High School, and they one son.

Amanda joined our staff full-time in June 2025 after having served as our interim children's minister and VBS Director. Prior to coming on staff, she was a public school teacher in special education at Mart ISD. She and her husband Corey have two daughters who love sports and showing animals.

Kevin serves as music minister during our Sunday morning worship service, which blends historic and modern songs of the faith for God's people to worship together in spirit and truth. Kevin is married to his wife June and works full-time at Nucor Steel.

Joining the team in 2023, Amie is the face of the front office and the voice you’ll hear if you call the church! She and her husband, Ben, have been members at FBCG for over a decade, serving the Lord through our church and in the community. Most of her free time is spent with family.

Kara serves as director of our women's ministry, which includes Bible studies, events, and discipleship. She and her husband, Lee, have two adult sons and are deeply involved in our community. Kara loves to disciple young women and help them grow in their faith.

Troy serves as director of our men's ministry, which includes Bible studies, events, and discipleship. He and his wife, Dawn, have 5 adult children and two grandchildren. Troy loves to see men grow as leaders, husbands, fathers, and followers of Jesus.
