Keith Collier was called to be pastor of FBC Groesbeck in October 2017 and has a passion to see the church become a healthy gospel light in the community and around the world. He believes this is best accomplished through biblical disciple-making and equipping Christians to fulfill the Great Commission. Keith has been married to Amy since 1999, and they have three children—Will, Blake, and Allison. When not enjoying a family game night or shooting hoops with his kids, Keith is an avid baseball fan looking to mark all 30 MLB ballparks off his bucket list.
Born and raised in Southeast Texas, Keith sensed the Lord’s call to vocational ministry in college and has served as a youth minister, church planter in Colorado, and most recently as a pastor/elder at Normandale Baptist Church in Fort Worth. In addition to local church ministry, he served as managing editor of the Southern Baptist TEXAN, newspaper of the Southern Baptists of Texas Convention from 2014-2017, and director of news and information for Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary from 2007-2014.
