Keith collier:

Senior pastor

Keith Collier was called as pastor of FBC Groesbeck in October 2017 and has a passion to see the church become a healthy gospel light in the community and around the world. Keith is married to Amy, and they have three children. 


Keith grew up near Beaumont, Texas. Prior to coming to FBC Groesbeck, he served in churches as a youth minister, a church planter, and a pastor/elder. In addition to local church ministry, he served as editor of the Southern Baptist TEXAN and news director for Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Keith earned a bachelor’s from Lamar University and both a Master of Divinity and Ph.D. at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

Trent kelley:

student  Minister

Called to FBCG in 2015, Trent graduated from Texas A&M University in 2015, received a degree in Architecture Design, and in 2017 graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Theological Studies. His passions reside in music, discipleship, preaching, writing, hunting, travel, and design. Currently, Trent writes music, does freelance design work, does hair styling consulting (so hit him up if you need a new haircut), and built a tiny house.

He has no children, but if he did, the son would be named Bear. He loves anything David Crowder. Trent’s focus resides in displaying to students the raw disciplines of the Christian life, emphasizing the joy and necessity of seeking, seeing, and savoring the Lord. Sharon Irwin:

children's Minister

Sharon joined the FBCG staff in May 2021. With more than 20 years of ministry to children, Sharon loves helping families grow and thrive spiritually. Sharon is married to Jason, and they have 4 sons: Joshua, Jacob, Jared, and Jeremy. She earned her master's in Christian education with a concentration in childhood education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a master's in biblical counseling.

Kevin Stone

Music minister

Kevin serves as music minister during the 10:45 a.m. worship service, which blends historic and modern songs of the faith for God's people to worship together in spirit and truth. Kevin is married to his wife June and works full-time at Nucor Steel.

Roseland (micky) Sims:

ministry assistant

Micky Sims is the glue that holds our staff together, as she works tirelessly to organize and assist each staff member to accomplish the task that God has given them. Micky's is the first voice you hear when you contact FBC, and is sure to be a friendly voice. Micky always has a smile and a warm greeting for those who call on the church and is loved and respected by her church family. Micky's spiritual giftedness of service is a real blessing to those who work with her.

Micky is married to Tommy Ray Sims, and is the mother of two great kids—son David and his wife, Olga, and children live in Rice, Texas; and daughter, Erin and her husband, Cody, live in Caldwell, Texas.
