Keith collier:

Senior pastor

Keith Collier was called as pastor of FBC Groesbeck in October 2017 and has a passion to see the church become a healthy gospel light in the community and around the world. Keith is married to Amy, and they have three children. 


Keith grew up near Beaumont, Texas. Prior to coming to FBC Groesbeck, he served in churches as a youth minister, a church planter, and a pastor/elder. In addition to local church ministry, he served as editor of the Southern Baptist TEXAN and news director for Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Keith earned a bachelor’s from Lamar University and both a Master of Divinity and Ph.D. at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. 

Trent kelley:

student  Minister

Called to FBCG in 2015, Trent graduated from Texas A&M University in 2015, received a degree in Architecture Design, and in 2017 graduated from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary with a Master of Theological Studies. His passions reside in music, discipleship, preaching, writing, hunting, travel, and design. Currently, Trent writes music, does freelance design work, does hair styling consulting (so hit him up if you need a new haircut), and built a tiny house.

He has no children, but if he did, the son would be named Bear. He loves anything David Crowder. Trent’s focus resides in displaying to students the raw disciplines of the Christian life, emphasizing the joy and necessity of seeking, seeing, and savoring the Lord. Sharon Irwin:

children's Minister

Sharon joined the FBCG staff in May 2021. With more than 20 years of ministry to children, Sharon loves helping families grow and thrive spiritually. Sharon is married to Jason, and they have 4 sons: Joshua, Jacob, Jared, and Jeremy. She earned her master's in Christian education with a concentration in childhood education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and is currently pursuing a master's in biblical counseling.

Kevin Stone:

Music minister

Kevin serves as music minister during our Sunday morning worship service, which blends historic and modern songs of the faith for God's people to worship together in spirit and truth. Kevin is married to his wife June and works full-time at Nucor Steel.

Haley Roark:

ministry assistant

Haley has been involved in First Baptist Groesbeck most of her life. Before becoming a member in 2021 she participated in Cubbies, Awana & youth ministries in her childhood. Haley has lived in Groesbeck her whole life and graduated from Groesbeck High School in 2017. She went to Sam Houston State University and graduated with a degree in Criminal Justice and a minor in Psychology in 2020. She is currently in Court Reporting school and working hard to become a court stenographer. Haley has participated in a lot of the youth activities here at FBCG. She served as as an assistant to the youth minister before taking the position of Ministry Assistant formerly held by the beloved—and now retired—Micky Sims. Now when you call, you’ll hear Haley’s voice on the other end!


Haley is married to Brendan Roark, who is also a member of First Baptist Groesbeck. Her parents are Roy and Bonnie DeFriend of Groesbeck, and she has a younger sister Hannah who attends McMurry University.
